Lesson Overview of Fourth of July Stars Explosion
Lesson 1 Making The Star Blocks:
In Lesson 1, I will be showing you step by step along with many color photos on how to make the Sawtooth Star block.You will learn some really easy ways to make 4 patch units along with some easy piecing techniques on how to construct the block together.
Lesson 2 Making The Sashing Units:
In Lesson 2, I will be showing you how to make the 54- 40 or Fight Sashing Units that go in between the blocks using the template method.
Lesson 3:Sewing The Blocks & Sashing Together:
In Lesson 3, I will show you step by step on how to sew the blocks and sashing units together to start creating this wonderful quilt top.
Lesson 4: Adding Borders, Preparing The Quilt To Be Quilted, Quilting Designs:
In Lesson 4, I will show you how to add the mitered border, getting the quilt top ready for quilting and share with you some quilting designs that you can use on your quilt.
Lesson 5: Binding & Finishing Off The Quilt:
In Lesson 5, I will show you how to make and add the binding to your quilt along with a hanging sleeve and label.Happy Quilting.Hugs Katie
